The Chief of the Gabon Board wins the presidency for landslide, according to the provisional results




The Chief of the Board, Brice Oligui Nguema, won the presidential elections of Gabon with more than 90 percent of the votes, according to the provisional results published on Sunday. The participation was 70.4 percent, and no other candidate received more than 3 percent, in the surveys that mark the first vote since a 2023 coup d’etat overthrew the Bongo dynasty.
