Allison’s Story:
“I’ve always struggled with my self-esteem. When I took my before photos, I was crying looking at them. I was at my heaviest (even when I was pregnant). I didn’t recognize my own body and I knew it was time to get serious and try hard.
I knew I couldn’t make any more excuses, I needed to change for myself and my future health. So I followed the Move application workouts, completing each one. I joined an accountability group SSD Shining Stars and LSF mamas. He remained committed to following the 7 day weight loss & HBMPand went on a 40-day sugar fast with my sister.
I began the journey hoping and praying that I would be able to keep going and not give up. Many of the encouraging women in the LSF community kept me going! Meal plans helped eliminate planning and guesswork. And I think that was the key to my success.
Not only did I get stronger physically, but I also gained confidence! I have been struggling with anxiety, fatigue, migraines, dizziness, and hormonal issues since 2020. Since changing my diet and moving my body, I have never felt better! My migraines are non-existent, my anxiety is MUCH better, I have ridiculous amounts of energy (I wake up at 5:30), and my dizziness and hormonal issues are gone. LSF has been the key to my recovery.”

“I gained over 35 pounds when I was in my thirties and I hated every detail of my body. I found it extremely difficult to change my habits and lifestyle. I had no plan or direction to change. I was tired. Tired of feeling. Tired, tired of not leaving the house because I had nothing to wear, tired of feeling bad every day. That’s when I decided to join the Spring Slim Down Challenge.
In just 6 weeks I gained a confidence I didn’t know I had, I gained new happiness from waking up early in the morning, I gained an appreciation for my body and what it can do, I gained a new relationship with food and learned how to nourish my body, I gained a very supportive, loving and encouraging community, not to mention I lost 9 pounds and my clothes fit so much better!
For me this is just the beginning! I am committed to being my best self yet and I have Katie and the LSF team/community to thank for that. I am very grateful and feel very proud to be where I am today. I feel strong, motivated and excited for more to come! Good things DO come to those who sweat!”

“I started this challenge as a reset for the new year to hold myself accountable and commit to working with the move app every day and closely following the HBMP. I also wanted a support system for this challenge so I started #teamlsfslay and these women were amazing at motivating me and sharing their support throughout the challenge. I don’t think I would have been as consistent without them! “This challenge made me get into the habit of consistently exercising and eating well.”

Our Pink Heart Award goes to a member of the #teamLSF Community Who not only remained dedicated to her own fitness journey, but was also extremely encouraging of her #teamlsf teammates! In each challenge we ask members to feature people who motivated them and were a source of positivity and encouragement throughout the challenge.
selena- I lost 11 pounds
“I have lost 17 pounds since the beginning of feel good 14 challenge(11 of which I’ve lost since the inception of SSD).
I followed a meal plan for over a month and now my husband and I are treating ourselves better nutritionally.
While that all feels amazing, this challenge had much less to do with hitting weight loss goals and more to do with cheering on the LSF girls who have cheered me on in every previous challenge.
My reason is to encourage others when they don’t believe in themselves or receive encouragement from the people in their life and maybe even when their dreams are belittled.”

We received SO many amazing submissions for this challenge that it was almost impossible to simply highlight our grand prize winner, finalists, and Pink Heart recipient. We wanted to highlight these amazing members who also had crazy transformations and heartwarming stories!

Lost: 5 pounds
“I decided to make a change/tweak, so to speak, in regulating my exercise hours and sleep cycle. I started coming home for lunch to prepare my healthy meal at home and pack my workout clothes to take with me and change into after the workout. I work on the road. Going straight to the gym instead of going home first has helped me work out earlier which makes me eat dinner earlier and then sleep more the last few weeks have been great and I have noticed a difference in my body. and my body. I can see that my body is being sculpted, slimmer, slimmer!”

Lost: 11 pounds
“I fully committed to SSD and worked on my physical health, but more importantly, my mental health and in turn, that helped my physical health even more. This challenge was the first time I used the meal plans and I loved them. It was great to have a quick, simple and effective plan laid out in front of me (just like the Move application for my exercises) so I wasn’t always thinking about what to prepare for meals! I even found a couple of new favorite foods (salmon and Greek yogurt) that before HBMP I didn’t realize I liked it so much.
There will always be challenges, but I took it day by day and will continue to do so. I am very grateful for the girls of #teamlsf who encourage and support me. I love that about these challenges: we do it together!
SSD’s biggest win, I would say, is that I FINALLY got into a rhythm of exercise and protein in the morning. I had been trying to get it to work for a long time and this time it worked! Hurrah! “I showed up every day and made small changes that added up and I am proud of my hard work and results.”

Lost: 7 pounds
“I’ve been on several of your challenges and I feel like this is the one that changed me the most. This time I did the hot body eating plan and I feel like I’ve been able to transform my idea of healthy eating and established some real healthy habits. I’ve been able to lose between 6.5 and now 8 pounds, and since using this app, I have lost 23 pounds!
