Russian general’s assassination ‘fits a pattern’, more to come from Ukraine’s SBU, analyst says




The head of the Russian military’s chemical weapons division was killed Tuesday in a brazen attack in Moscow allegedly claimed by kyiv, the highest-ranking military figure killed in Russia so far as the Kremlin’s campaign in Ukraine drags on. Melinda Haring, Razom’s Ukraine adviser and non-resident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, says the assassination in Moscow was a “shocking embarrassment” for the Kremlin.
