Indian national cricket team captain Rohit Sharma along with senior batsman Virat Kohli were not happy with the fans who attended the team’s practice session. According to reports from RevSportz, it is learned that both senior players have expressed their disappointment over the fans’ demands.
The Indian national cricket team has been working hard ahead of the fourth match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The Boxing Day match between the teams will be played on Thursday (December 26) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
The Indian national cricket team is undergoing intense training sessions in Melbourne
The Indian national cricket team is undergoing intense training sessions in Melbourne as it looks for victory in the fourth Test of the series. The focus will, in particular, be on two of the team’s senior players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who have been badly affected.
Rohit and Kohli reportedly looked quite solid in the nets. They have ticked almost all the boxes well and are making sure to leave no stone unturned in their preparations for the next match of the series, which will be a deciding match of the virtual series.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were unhappy with fans shouting and demanding certain shots in the nets.
But both stalwarts of the Indian national cricket team also felt uncomfortable during the practice session. This was because they were unhappy with the way some fans came to watch the nets at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
Reports claimed that fans were shouting and demanding certain shots from Rohit and Virat. This did not go well with the team’s two senior players, who expressed their disappointment over the same.

The Indian team, after the first test in Perth, closed the doors to the fans. This was because some players were reportedly abused by fans, who complained about the same and hence the Rohit Sharma-led team practiced behind closed doors, but fans were present at the MCG.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have not been at their best in Tests
Looking at the form of Rohit and Kohli, both the batsmen have not been at their best in the longest format of the game. The Indian captain looked torrid with the bat as he managed just 19 runs in the two games he played while batting in the middle order.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli started his Australian tour with flying colors, celebrating a stylish century in Perth. But after that he struggled to get going and only managed 26 runs in the next two games he played, going outside.
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be eager to take a step forward for the team in the last two matches. If the Indian national cricket team has to imagine their chances of winning the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, they would want their two senior players to bring their A-game.
