“My group is in arms about who our Joe Rogan is. We are not going to have a Joe Rogan on the left. This is how it works,” he said.

Stewart agreed with the statement, offering his opinion that the party cannot produce a superior global podcast that will amplify liberal thinking.
“It is not something that you can conjure in the way, they simply think, ‘oh, we are going to build this inorganically.’ Those positions have been built over time, and they have earned their credibility, and they have gained their authenticity, and they have earned all those things they have.
Buttigieg offered this evaluation of his fellow Democrats: “The other big thing in which my party is terribly backward is where we say it. And with this I mean what media spaces we are in.”
“The Joe Rogan Experience” is one of the most influential podcasts in the world and has a massive audience of male spectators, a demographic group that was considered crucial to the 2024 electoral victory of President Donald Trump.

Despite the desire of the party to replicate Trump’s success with RoganButtigieg told Stewart that he needs to focus on his own original strategy to find new voters, even entering more conservative spaces.
“I think we are really struggling to find people where they are,” said Buttigieg.
“It could be the tenth person who says approximately the same in a liberal show, or it could literally be the first time someone listens to a certain idea if I am in a more conservative space,” he added, noting that the party should communicate with people who “do not always seek politics.”
