Gaza mental health worker Zahra Legris talks about helping people traumatized by war




A mental health worker who works providing psychological first aid in southern Gaza spoke to FRANCE 24 from there about the horrors of what is happening in the region and how she and her colleagues are trying to help. Zahra Legris is director of mental health activities for Doctors Without Borders or MSF, based in Khan Younis. He speaks daily with people, often children, who have been deeply traumatized by war. Many suffer grief, displacement and destruction of their quality of life. She spoke to us in Perspective.
