Shipping Diana (DSX) announced that, through an independent wholly-owned subsidiary, it has extended the time charter contract with Cobelfret SA, Luxembourg, for one of its post-Panamax bulk carriers, the m/v Amphitrite. The gross charter rate is $8,750 per day for the first fifty days of the charter period and $12,100 per day for the remaining period of the time charter, in each case less a 5.00% commission paid to third parties, for a minimum period up to on January 1st. from 2026 until March 15, 2026 at the latest. The new charter period is expected to begin on December 31, 2024. “Amphitrite” is a 98,697 dwt Post-Panamax dry bulk carrier built in 2012. The extended employment of “Amphitrite” is expected to generate approximately $4.22 million gross revenue during the minimum scheduled time charter period.
