Before leaving home

Pack those bags! And believe me, it’s time to use something other than the outdated luggage you were handed when you went to college. Learn from my mistake: the bottom of my packed roller, including one of the wheels, fell apart in the middle of the airport to the terminal. Lucky for me, there was a Disney store nearby to pick up something at a manageable price, and lucky for you, today there’s a whole new era of fan-inspired luggage to choose from.
In a subtle way Wicked goes to a “better-hope-there-aren’t-an-imperial-scout-around” star wars cargo pickup, here are a few you might consider ordering if your luggage is on the last leg: ahem, it rolls.
While traveling

Getting to your chosen point of fun or relaxation can be quite the opposite, especially if you are easily overstimulated at the airport or even in crowds at theme parks. Make sure you have the right music, podcast, or book to read!
Ready to travel

Having the right things on hand is what can make or break a trip. With several theme parks operating their attraction queues online or offering expensive multi-attraction passes to shorten the wait a bit, a lot will depend on your phone and your patience levels.
Especially at Disney Parks, always be on the lookout for when virtual boarding passes and Lightning Lanes become more available. They’re all based on a first-come, first-served basis, and with several attractions still popular, you’ll want to secure free or pay-as-you-go options as soon as you can.
Either way, it’s a waste of battery. I can’t emphasize this enough: get a camera and separate batteries for stills and videos, No putting too much on a device.
When it comes to planning your meals, the parks offer plenty of food options, but mobile ordering may be your best option, especially if you have little ones in tow. Making sure they eat is just as important as feeding them. It’s pretty much the same idea as putting on your oxygen mask first and remember: ABS. Always. Ser. Snack. (And moisturizing!)
- To charge the phone, Casetify has several fandom power banks to check out, including Wicked and disney
- Hydration is key and There is a Liquid IV flavor for everyone. I prefer to have a lemon-lime drink at the beginning and end of long days spent at the theme park.
- For families with young children, I can’t emphasize enough how useful a bottle warmer is, especially the baby ember. It’s a hockey puck-shaped base that warms bottles on the go without fuss or mess. It’s a game-changer, but make sure you have it somewhere easy to access in your bag, because TSA and any security checkpoints will ask you questions.
- Getting around the parks with children can be complicated. Companies like Cybex have lightweight strollers that can carry a good amount of gear and adapt to hectic environments with small spaces; The Coya is even compatible with carry-on luggage. For road travelers, the company’s line of car seats includes options like the Calisto G 360 with full rotation and technological updates for greater protection.
- For a lightweight camera option with photography, vlogging support, the ability to shoot vertically in the frame, plus direct online social uploads, consider the Panasonic Lumix S9. They come in pretty colors, but the big advantage here is the weight; Even with the lens, it’s not an overwhelming camera to have on hand and create memories.
- Be sure to check out photo printing options at Print View to gather those vacation books and trips to Disney. The company has excellent year-end promotions so you can have those memories in your hands.
- Say “Hello, Barbie” with it Barbie x Kodak Printomatic instant digital camera.that allows wireless charging to your phone, as well as immediate printing for fun with less maintenance.
- There is also the Barbie x Kodak Step Slim Wireless Instant Portable Photo Printer.
- If you are really chaotic and want to return it, Retrospekt also has preloaded 35mm Barbie and Ken cameras. You won’t know how the photos turn out until the film is developed. Hallucinatory!
Happy traveling holidays!
